Description
Teignbridge's Rapid Replacement Propeller Service is offered through the free Club Teign programme. It lets boat owners get a damaged propeller replaced quickly by recording the propeller's details before anything goes wrong.
How it works
- Teignbridge records the characteristics of the existing propeller in advance
- Any performance improvements are discussed and agreed
- The right tooling is identified, or the best new pattern is defined
- Manufacturing options range from about a week up to standard lead time
- If the propeller is damaged, a phone call starts manufacture, with no need to lift the boat or wait for a technician to measure the propeller and shaft
- Spare propellers can also be made in advance and stored
Teignbridge holds original tooling and patterns for replacement and spare propellers for many leading boat builders.
