Description

Teignbridge's leisure propeller designs cover pleasure craft from displacement cruisers to fast motor yachts. Fully CNC-machined Class S versions of all designs are available.

Designs

  • C-FOIL: anti-cavitation blade section that increases thrust and efficiency. Teignbridge cites about 5% more thrust and efficiency than standard designs
  • Aquafoil: cambered pitch face, used on high-speed craft. The Aquafoil 55 has 3 blades. The 4-blade version with 73, 80 or 87% DAR suits high horsepower or tunnel installations
  • Aquaquad: 4-blade design developed to cut vibration on large pleasure craft with high-horsepower engines. Usually nickel aluminium bronze, ordered with 1 in. less pitch than the equivalent 3-blade propeller. Can be cupped
  • Aquapoise 55: for medium-speed inboard cruisers, 55% DAR. Also suits displacement craft whose power is too high for the Aquapoise 45. Usually nickel aluminium bronze
  • Aquapoise 65: 65% DAR, nickel aluminium bronze, for high-powered pleasure craft, customs, police and patrol launches. Can be cupped on the trailing edge
  • Aquaquin: design with an extra blade for fast pleasure yachts where smoothness matters more than acceleration. Suits installations with limited tip clearance. Has aerofoil sections, anti-singing edges and high-skew blades
  • Highly-skewed: custom designs, usually nickel aluminium bronze, for luxury motor yachts, fast ferries and patrol craft that need low noise. Often designed to classification society rules
