Description

The MAU Type CU3 Marine Propeller is a fixed-pitch propeller with MAU-series blade geometry, cast in CU3 nickel-aluminum bronze for commercial and civilian vessels.

CU3 nickel-aluminum bronze: 77–82% copper, 3–6% nickel, 7–11% aluminum, plus trace iron and manganese
Tensile strength 600–850 MPa
Density 5–12% lower than CU1 bronze propellers
Resistant to seawater corrosion, cavitation erosion and biofouling; no dezincification

Configurations

3, 4, 5 or 6 blades: 3–4 blades for faster light-duty vessels (yachts, small cargo ships); 5–6 blades for heavy-load ships (tankers, bulk carriers)
Diameter customizable from below 1 m to over 8 m to match engine output
