5-blade fixed pitch propeller designed to each hull and operating profile; Fountom FPP range 800–8000 mm, Kaplan/MAU/B designs, Ni-Al bronze, copper or stainless steel; IACS class.
Description
The Fountom 5 Blade Fixed Pitch Propeller is designed to match each vessel's hull and operating profile, using design tools based on calculations, model tests and full-scale measurements. The aim is high efficiency with low noise and vibration and no harmful cavitation.

- Diameter: 800–8000 mm
- Blade design: Kaplan, MAU, B
- Material: Ni-Al bronze/copper (Cu1, Cu3), stainless steel; high-purity copper, no recycled low-purity copper
- Blades: 3–7
- Dimensional tolerances: better than ISO 481
- Class: ABS, BV, CCS, DNV-GL, RINA, NK, KR
- Shafts and shafting accessories also supplied

- Approved design drawings supplied to the owner and kept on record for future repair or replacement
