Mega-Guard Power Management System

The Mega-Guard Power Management System (PMS) from Praxis Automation Technology fully automates a ship's power plant, covering power management, diesel engine control, generator control, synchronising, generator protection and an optional diesel engine safety system. Each generator set has its own independent PMS, and no additional components are needed to automate a low-voltage switchboard up to 690 VAC.

• Controller on TS35 DIN rail, ARM processor: 3-phase busbar and generator voltage inputs (0–690 VAC), 3-phase generator current (0–5 A), 14 relay outputs, 14 digital inputs; also available as an independent check synchroniser
• I/O cable, 3 m or 5 m
• PMS units communicate over an Ethernet loop
