IOW MP Pressure Driven Centrifuge
IOW Group MP-series pressure-driven bypass centrifugal oil cleaners with bowl disc technology and CentriClean remote monitoring, for engine and gearbox lube oil; models MP090, MP200, MP400, MP600.
Description
IOW MP pressure driven centrifuges are bypass centrifugal oil cleaners (oil spinners) from IOW Group that remove combustion-derived particles from engine and gearbox lubricating oil, reducing wear and extending oil life. They are installed alongside the full-flow filter, driven by oil pressure, and can run with the engine operating or, with an external pump, at standstill. Separator Spares & Equipment is an authorized IOW Group distributor and service center.
Key features
- Bowl disc (disc stack) technology in a pressure-driven centrifuge, increasing separation area and capturing fine micro-particles
- Centrifugal force more than 2,000 times gravity
- Fully sealed bowl and distributor impeller that draws oil in at the base, preventing cross-contamination between dirty and cleaned oil
- Dirt/sludge monitoring tells the operator when cleaning is needed
- Designed to be interchangeable with existing units such as Mann+Hummel and Spinner II centrifuges
Remote monitoring
- CentriClean SCU 0002 (Modbus): displays rotor RPM and run hours, alarms on low speed or run-hour limit, remote alarm via Modbus
- CentriClean SCU 0003 (Bluetooth): connects to the CentriClean app for multiple units, alarm settings, service status and operational data
