REINTJES Hybrid System
REINTJES gearbox hybrid system with a flange-mounted electric motor/generator and frequency converter, allowing efficient, quiet slow-speed operation below diesel idle speed.
Description
The REINTJES Hybrid System is an electrically driven hybrid solution integrated with REINTJES marine gearboxes, giving vessels an alternative mode for slow-speed sailing. It allows operation at speeds below the idle speed of the diesel engine, with quiet running, lower noise and reduced energy consumption.
