REINTJES offers automation, condition monitoring and control systems for its marine gearboxes, aimed at lower fuel consumption and emissions and real-time data exchange.
REINTJES Gearbox Automation (GBX-A)
- Compact control unit fitted directly to some REINTJES gearboxes; available as an upgrade for almost all REINTJES gearboxes
- Programmable logic control of the proportional control valves, replacing conventional hydraulic forward/reverse-only clutch control
- Smooth clutch engagement in all applications and significantly reduced hydraulic noise
- Individual settings for main clutch or auxiliary drive operation
- Real-time visualization of status and parameters, with remote maintenance and data adjustment
- Integrated in modern propulsion control systems for lower fuel consumption and emissions
REINTJES Condition Monitoring System (CMS)
- Continuous condition monitoring of marine gearboxes
- Monitors vibration, pressures, temperatures, oil quality and torque
- Dashboard showing gearbox health and service needs
- Early fault detection, minimized downtime, optimized service planning and longer service life
- Remote data transmission to ship managers/owners and REINTJES technicians via a suitable interface
REINTJES Control System (RCS)
- Class-approved, modular control system for fixed-pitch propeller propulsion
- Control levers and displays with soft-touch buttons; comprehensive display and warning functions
- Customizable; compatible with GBX-A and the REINTJES hybrid system
