Description
The Powerstart Jetstream 5 is a heavy-duty pneumatic air turbine starter for diesel and gas engines up to 80 litres, built for marine, offshore and hazardous industrial applications.
Key features
- Available as inertia or pre-engaged starter; pre-engaged design slides the pinion into full engagement before cranking, eliminating gear clash
- Low (3 bar), medium (10 bar) or high (30 bar) inlet pressure versions
- Integrated relay valve, exhaust adaptors and mufflers available to reduce fitting time
- Optional beryllium-copper non-spark pinion for explosive environments
- Corrosion-resistant construction suited to marine and offshore use
- No lubrication required
