Description

The Everllence 175DF-M is a high-speed dual-fuel engine running on methanol or diesel, built on the 175D engine platform. It delivers high cylinder output in methanol mode and is designed for maximum methanol operation using pilot ignition.

Key features

  • Based on the proven 175D high-speed platform
  • Optimized dual-fuel combustion system; switch between methanol and diesel without compromising performance
  • Double-walled methanol injection for safety
  • IMO Tier III NOx compliance without SCR in methanol operation
  • Oxidation catalyst reduces formaldehyde and HCN emissions
  • Retrofit compatible: over 90% shared components allow conversion of existing 175D engines with minimal modifications
  • Straightforward maintenance and long time between overhauls (TBO)

Applications

Naval and governmental vessels, offshore operations, tugs, ferries, yachts and fishing vessels. First order: three 175DF-M engines for a superyacht.
