Description

The Everllence SCR retrofit is a selective catalytic reduction system for reducing NOx emissions from existing marine engines. It is based on a modified OEM design and is individually configurable to the vessel's engine.

Key features

  • OEM design adapted for retrofit, robust construction and low maintenance thanks to a self-cleaning function
  • Low urea consumption
  • Able to operate at very low engine loads
  • Flexible, customizable components; system configuration via the Everllence NEXUS SCR configurator
  • Can be combined with PrimeServ Assist remote monitoring, which covers the SCR, turbocharger and engine and detects faulty NOx sensors

Reference

In October 2020 an SCR retrofit was completed on the Norwegian fishing trawler Brusøyskjær (Ivan Ulsund Rederi), powered by a 6L27/38 main engine. NOx levels now surpass IMO Tier III, with up to 90% NOx reduction from an engine load as low as 15%.
