Nett Technologies Component
M-Series (Metallic DOC)
Nett M-Series metallic diesel oxidation catalysts for CO, HC and PM reduction, in universal-fit or direct-fit catalytic muffler designs, for off-road, power generation, marine and other diesel applications; EPA verified for stationary use.
Description
The Nett M-Series (Metallic) Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) is a maintenance-free catalytic converter for diesel engines, providing a balance of high HC, CO and particulate (SOF) conversion with low sulfate formation. Applications include off-road, on-road, power generation, marine, gantry crane and locomotive engines.
Performance
- Minimum about 180°C (360°F) required for conversion; CO conversion exceeds 90% above 250-300°C (480-570°F)
- Particulate matter reductions of 30-50%
- Prolonged exposure above 650°C (1200°F) may cause thermal degradation; low lube oil consumption and low-phosphorus oils extend catalyst life
Technical data – metallic substrates
- Cell density: 160 / 240 / 320 cpsi
- Wall thickness: 0.05 mm
- Geometric surface area: 19 / 23 / 26 cm2/cm3
