Description
Yamaha's F40 and F30 midrange outboards are compact 747 cc four-stroke engines for light duty on skiffs, jon boats, inflatables, small pontoons and aluminum fishing boats. The 40 hp is available in propeller and jet-pump driven versions.

- Optional Multi-Function Tiller with Variable Trolling RPM Switch (VTS): trolling 650–900 rpm in 50 rpm steps
- Power trim and tilt (-3° to +20°) or Nitro Assist Tilt (F30)
- Freshwater flush device
- YDC-30 alloy with Phaze Five five-layer anti-corrosion paint system
