AMW Marine electrical drive and onboard power systems, including the E-PP Electrical Power Pack for precise control of highly fluctuating electrical loads on river cruisers, large yachts and research vessels.
Description
AMW Marine's electrical drives are systems for powering vessel propulsion and the onboard network, aimed at frequently changing electrical loads, tight installation spaces and high environmental requirements, for newbuilds and refits. Solutions can be based on shaft generators, diesel, petrol or dual-fuel (LNG) engines.
Electrical Power Pack E-PP
The E-PP enables very precise control of the required electrical energy, even with highly fluctuating power demand, such as on river cruise vessels, large yachts and research vessels. It was patented (application 2007) and first installed in 2009 on the diesel-electric river cruise vessel *Viking Legend*.
