- Mechanical and chemical cleaning
- 10-step reconditioning process – inspection, removal of old gaskets, plate cleaning, dye testing, second inspection, dye residue removal, gasket groove cleaning, final plate inspection, fitting of new gaskets and quality check, using original spare parts
- Hydrogen leakage test – a hydrogen/nitrogen mixture fed into the closed unit on the water side to locate microscopic leaks and material fatigue; also usable as a preventive tightness test
