ORCA Marine Cooling Systems System / Package
Marine Engine Cooling Systems
Indirect raw water marine engine cooling systems built around a heat exchanger, supplied as stock kits with brackets, fittings and hoses or as custom-designed systems for a specific engine.
Description
Orca Marine Engine Cooling Systems are indirect raw water cooling systems built around a high-performance, corrosion-resistant heat exchanger. Each system includes the heat exchanger plus the brackets, fittings and hoses needed to install it, supplied as a stock or custom system for a specific engine.
How it works
Raw water from the sea, lake or river is pumped from outside the hull through the tube system of the heat exchanger, while hot engine coolant flows through the exchanger without direct contact. The raw water absorbs heat from the coolant and is then expelled through the exhaust, while the cooled coolant returns to the engine.
Configurations
- Stock cooling systems and parts matched to the engine's identifying details
- Complete kits, replacement parts and accessories
- Custom-designed parts or complete systems using full engineering design, 2D/3D CAD/CAM and in-house machining
