Description
Kelvion's Service for Welded Plate Heat Exchangers combines regular performance inspections with preventive measures such as mechanical cleaning, chemical CIP and weld repairs to reduce the risk of unscheduled downtime and extend equipment life. After a failure, service engineers assess damage, carry out tests and recommend a solution.
Service solutions
- Mechanical cleaning, including hydro-blasting
- Hydrogen leakage test – hydrogen/nitrogen mixture fed into the closed unit on the water side to detect microscopic leaks and material fatigue
- Thermal cleaning – decomposition of organic material in an inert atmosphere, allowing recoating to OEM specification
- Spare parts, upgrades and replacements
