VETUS Waterlocks for Standard Installations
Plastic exhaust waterlocks that stop cooling water flowing back into the engine after shutdown; LP, LSS, LSL and LSG types from 30 to 90 mm, 2.3 to 17 litres, all with drain plug.
Description
VETUS waterlocks for standard installations collect the water in a wet exhaust system after the engine stops, preventing backflow into the engine. All types have a drain plug for winter storage.
Types
- LP (fixed inlet) – 30, 60, 76 and 90 mm; LP90 for exhaust hoses of 4 m and longer, 10.5 litres; LP30 2.3 litres
- LP (rotating inlet) – 40, 45 and 51 mm with 360° revolving inlet for easier installation; LP50 4.3 litres
- LSS – 40, 45 and 51 mm for boats in rough water; 5.7 litres, rotating inlet/outlet, securing strap supplied
- LSL – 60, 75 and 90 mm, extra-large for long, relatively straight exhaust runs; 16 litres, fixed connections
- LSG – 60, 75 and 90 mm, extra-large for rough water; 17 litres, rotating inlet/outlet
Applications
Wet exhaust systems on recreational boats, including long exhaust runs.
