Description

GEA Westfalia OSD 2-02-137 (OSD minimaXx) is a self-cleaning mineral oil separator with a disc bowl, single centripetal pump and automatic solids ejection. It is used mainly for clarification and purification of gas oil, diesel oil and lube oil where the solids content is too high for a manual-cleaning purifier. Solids are discharged while the separator is running, avoiding frequent shutdowns for cleaning. The source describes it as the smallest self-cleaning centrifuge in the world.
