WSK MAB 104 Centrifuge

WSK MAB 104 is a high-speed, solids-retaining disc stack centrifuge (type MAB 104B-24) for purification or clarification of distillates, marine diesel oil, lubricating oils and other mineral oils on board ships and in industrial installations. Separator Spares & Equipment supplies complete units from stock in Houma, Louisiana, as an authorized WSK distributor.

Design

• Driven by a horizontal drive shaft, friction clutch, worm wheel gear (running in an oil bath) and vertical drive shaft, all housed in the separator frame
• Brake at the top of the frame acting directly on the bowl
• Hinged frame hood for easy access during cleaning and maintenance
• Supplied configured as a purifier, with all parts needed to convert it to a clarifier
• Contaminated oil is fed through the center; sludge is thrown outward and removed manually from the bowl at regular intervals
• Liquid seal in the bowl prevents oil escaping through the water outlet
