N3000-SAP Engine Safety System
Compact engine safety system monitoring combustion engine operating parameters and triggering emergency shutdown; digital signal processing, wire-break monitoring, IP65 stainless housing, class approved.
Description
The N3000-SAP safety system electrically monitors the basic operating parameters of a combustion engine and is the central unit for triggering an emergency shutdown to prevent damage. Its compact, robust design makes it suitable for installation on ships directly on the engine. Signal processing is purely digital, combined with fast, crystal-accurate speed acquisition.
Key features
- Large number of preprogrammed engine types
- All inputs monitored for wire break and short circuit
- Plug-in connections for easy installation
Inputs and outputs
- 4 manual emergency stop inputs; 5 automatic stop inputs
- 2 pick-up inputs for non-contact speed acquisition
- 2 override inputs for automatic stop channels, assignable per class requirements
- 1 remote reset input
- Shutdown outputs I < 2 A @ 24 VDC; signal outputs I < 0.5 A @ 24 VDC
- Analog outputs 4…20 mA (RL ≤ 600 Ω) and 0…10 V (IL ≤ 20 mA)
