Description
The Logan SBB 2000 is a hydraulically actuated direct drive PTO clutch for Twin Disc-style and ZF-style live PTO marine transmissions. It uses fluid pressure from the transmission control circuit to actuate the clutch and can be field-retrofitted to existing transmissions. Its compact, low-profile design suits workboats, fishing boats and pleasure craft.
Applications
- Separate power source for bow and stern thrusters while manoeuvring at reduced main engine speed
- Direct pump drive for winches, reels, hoists and deck pressure washers
- Driving an alternator for onboard electrical consumers
- Engaging auxiliaries only when needed reduces emissions, fuel cost and wear
