Description

Hydromaster's electric propulsion systems combine its 360° steerable thrusters with electric motors, frequency drives and control integration, tailored to the vessel's design and power profile. They serve hybrid, battery-electric and all-electric vessels in commercial and government operation.

Configurations

  • Transom-mounted thruster units
  • Inboard (well-mounted) azimuth thrusters
  • Retractable azimuth thrusters
  • Parallel and serial hybrid systems integrating with generator sets, control systems and energy management platforms
  • Compatible with DP vessels and other specialized operating modes

Applications

  • Inland waterway vessels
  • Short-distance ferries, shuttle services and double-ended ferries
  • Hybrid and zero-emission government platforms
  • Low-noise applications
  • Low and high speed vessels; High Speed Thrusters for speeds up to 28 knots
