Hydromaster inboard, well-mounted 360° azimuth thrusters in Z-drive (diesel or horizontal electric motor) or L-drive (vertical electric or hydraulic motor), open or ducted propellers, with optional flexible mounting.

Description

Hydromaster Well Mounted Azimuth Thrusters are inboard, 360° steerable propulsion units providing high thrust and manoeuvrability for a wide range of vessels.

Configurations

  • Z-drive: for a horizontal prime mover such as a diesel engine or horizontal electric motor; open or ducted propeller for maximum bollard pull; hybrid versions with double input shafts available
  • L-drive: for vertical hydraulic or electric motors; electric options include permanent magnet (PM) or squirrel-cage induction motors with variable speed drive and controls, common on hybrid and electric vessels with strict emission or acoustic limits
  • Optional flexible mount installation for both Z- and L-drives, significantly reducing onboard vibration and noise
