MMG Hybrid Manufacturing Process
MMG hybrid manufacturing combining plastic 3D printing for patterns up to 2x2x2 m with wire arc additive welding for metal spare parts such as propeller tips and small propeller geometries.
Description
The MMG Hybrid Manufacturing Process (HMP) extends propeller and component production beyond casting, allowing individual parts and small series in a range of materials.
Key features
- Plastic-based 3D printing of individual patterns up to 2 x 2 x 2 m
- Wire arc additive welding for metal parts such as spare propeller tips or small, individual propeller geometries
- Single parts to small series
- Different materials can be combined to use their properties selectively and cost-effectively
