Masson Marine MM W2800Y twin input, single output marine gearbox allowing two smaller engines to drive one shaft; up to 779 kW (1,045 hp) per input, max 2,100 rpm, ratios 3.527–8.060, optional PTOs.
Description
The MM W2800Y Twin Input Single Output Gearbox has two front inputs, allowing two smaller engines to drive one propeller shaft instead of a single large engine, with more flexibility in operating modes and machinery room layout. A 2021 housing redesign allows Masson's standard power take-offs to be fitted.
