Masson Marine E-range clutchless marine gearboxes for electric propulsion, based on the standard reverse gear design; EM540 fitted on inland vessels and an electric pusher tug with a 700 kW PM motor.
Description
The Masson Marine E-range is a family of marine gearboxes dedicated to electric propulsion. Without a clutch, the gearboxes are lighter, less expensive and easier to maintain, with fewer parts and longer lifetime. A frequency converter is recommended to prevent overtorque.

Applications
