Logan Clutch Component

Type CH Clutches

Logan Type CH heavy-duty clutches, air or hydraulic, wet or dry; seven sizes from 5532 Nm to 144,000 Nm, ABS type approved for marine propulsion and mooring winches.

Description

Logan Type CH clutches are heavy-duty clutch and brake units that can be air or hydraulically actuated. Friction disc packs suit wet or dry operation; as a wet clutch, coolant oil is applied by splash, spray or forced through an internal shaft passage. The hub is bored and keyseated for shaft mounting, with torque transferred from the disc pack to a splined drive ring.
