Description

CJR Rudder Tube Assemblies are through-hull rudder tubes for rudder stock diameters from 30 mm up to 180 mm.

Construction

Materials: polyester or epoxy GRP, mild steel, aluminium or bronze
Supplied fully machined and, where appropriate, assembled with polyacetal or composite bearings and wear plate
Water-lubricated bearings or grease lubrication via injection point
In-house marine-grade GRP tubes designed for saltwater service and resistant to delamination
IACS approval if required; optional hydrostatic testing
Standard sizes available from stock

Transom-hung housing

For tightly packed stern areas, rudders can be hung outside the transom in a housing cast in nickel aluminium bronze, machined and assembled with bearings, seals and bolts.
