PF pump for large engines
Bosch PF injection pump for single-cylinder pump systems on large engines; one pump per cylinder, up to 1,800 bar and up to 1,000 kW per cylinder, compatible with a wide range of fuels.
Description
The Bosch PF pump for large engines (pump for external drive) is used in single-cylinder pump systems: each engine cylinder has its own PF pump with a mechanical nozzle holder assembly. Its robust design allows operation on a large selection of fuel types.
Operating principle
Each PF pump is fitted with a pump element that regulates injection quantity via a control edge. Delivery volume, drive, housing and injection pressure of the pump element can be designed to suit different engine sizes and outputs.
