PSS Shaft Seal
PSS mechanical shaft seal from PYI Inc. (distributed in India by SMW) for shafts 20-150 mm; watertight, maintenance-free replacement for packing glands, suitable for retrofit.
Description
The PSS Shaft Seal is a marine mechanical propeller shaft seal from PYI Inc., distributed in India by SMW Propellers as sole distributor. It replaces traditional packing-type glands, eliminating their maintenance and constant adjustment, and is fitted as standard equipment by many boat builders as well as being widely used as a retrofit seal.
