SMW marine rudders: fabricated mild steel or SS 304/316 rudders built to builder requirements, and cast nickel aluminium, manganese or aluminium bronze rudders for high-speed craft.
Description
SMW marine rudders provide directional control for boats and are produced as fabricated steel rudders or cast bronze rudders.
Types
- Fabricated rudders: built to boat builders' requirements and standards from mild steel or stainless steel (SS 304 or SS 316), comprising shaft and blade
- Cast rudders: mainly for high-speed craft, made of nickel aluminium bronze, manganese bronze or aluminium bronze
