ProPosition Dynamic Positioning System
Glendinning ProPosition dynamic positioning uses GPS and compass data to command propulsion, thrusters and waterjet buckets for position and heading hold; works with inboard, outboard, sterndrive and waterjet boats.
Description
ProPosition is a dynamic positioning system from Glendinning Marine that counteracts wind and current by using GPS and compass data to send commands to the vessel's propulsion, thrusters and waterjet reverse buckets.
Key features
- Position hold – maintains vessel position at the push of a button
- Heading hold – keeps the bow on one compass heading while at anchor or under way, adjustable on the fly
- Simple interface with graphic display panel for setting parameters and monitoring vessel position
