DCL International Component
Metalcor SCR Catalyst
Metalcor thin-walled metallic SCR catalyst elements for NOx control, half the volume of extruded or ceramic bricks, with copper-zeolite or vanadia coatings and 10+ years service life.
Description
DCL's Metalcor® SCR catalyst is a thin-walled metallic catalyst element for Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) of nitrogen oxides (NOx). It needs about half the space of traditional extruded or ceramic SCR bricks while giving similar pressure drop and NOx conversion efficiency.
Elements can be produced in a variety of configurations, sizes and cell densities, and can be fitted into any existing manufacturer's SCR housing or used with DCL's complete SCR system.
Key features
- Compact, low pressure drop design (half the volume of extruded or ceramic bricks)
- Copper-zeolite coating for low-sulfur fuels: operating range 250–550 °C, resistant to very high temperature peaks
- Vanadia coating for high-sulfur fuels: operating range 250–475 °C
- Thin-walled metal cell structure in various cell densities to balance emission performance and pressure drop
- Gasket-free installation and maintenance
- Coated on durable stainless steel substrates with 10+ years of service life; substrates can be cleaned and re-coated
- Design engineering support for catalyst optimization and an emissions performance guarantee
