ComAp Propulsion Control System (PCS) Extended Feature
ComAp PCS Marine software feature (SKPCSMXXX01) enabling VFD-based electric propulsion control in the InteliMains 1010 Marine controller: start/stop sequences, RPM or torque speed reference, trolling mode and breaker control.
Description
The ComAp Propulsion Control System (PCS) Extended Feature (order code SKPCSMXXX01) enables variable frequency drive (VFD) based electric propulsion control in the InteliMains 1010 Marine controller. It is required for any application controlling a main electric propulsion motor or thruster as part of the vessel's Integrated Automation System (IAS).
Functions
- Start and stop sequences for AC and AC/DC electric propulsion
- Speed reference to the VFD in RPM or torque mode, driven by a throttle-lever input
- Trolling mode for precise low-speed manoeuvring
- Breaker control for ACCB / DCCB (with internal or external precharge) and MPCB
Applications
Vessels with VFD-driven electric propulsion motors or thrusters, including propulsion control retrofits such as on a fishing research vessel.
