Böning MMDS-LC Alarm Panel Upgrade (MAN D 28)
Upgrade path for MMDS-LC engine displays on MAN D 28 engines: activate the terminal box CAN bus X6 connector and replace with a Böning MMDS CLC 6.3, AHD 880 or B:MACS PE plotter interface.
Description
The MMDS-LC is an engine display for MAN D 28 engines that communicates serially with the engine terminal box. The Böning MMDS-LC Alarm Panel Upgrade upgrades the terminal box where necessary to activate the CAN bus X6 connector, after which any Böning engine display can show engine data and alarms digitally.

- MMDS CLC 6.3: 6.5 in single-engine display
- AHD 880: 8 in touch screen for two engines with NMEA 2000 interface; can also show tanks, bilges and other vessel data
- B:MACS PE: interface to Garmin, Raymarine and Furuno multifunction displays
