Mercury Precision Lubricants
Mercury Precision Lubricants marine engine oils, oil filters and oil change kits for Mercury outboards and MerCruiser sterndrive and inboard engines, formulated for shear resistance and corrosion protection.
Description
Mercury Precision Lubricants are a line of marine-specific lubricants and maintenance products for Mercury outboards and MerCruiser sterndrive and inboard engines. They are formulated for sustained high-rpm, heavy-load operation, lower marine operating temperatures and long idle periods.
Key features
- 4-Stroke Marine Engine Oil with additives for shear resistance and viscosity retention
- Anti-corrosion inhibitors to protect internal components during storage
- Designed to exceed the NMMA marine engine oil standard
- Offered in multiple grades and formulations on a Good–Better–Best scale, including a mineral-base 4-stroke oil approved for all marine engines at the specified viscosity
Related products
- Mercury oil filters – high pleat count, heavy-duty canisters and anti-corrosion coating
- Mercury Oil Change Kits – engine oil, oil filter, drain-plug gasket and instructions for many outboard and MerCruiser models
- Oil drain pump (PN 802889A1) – threads to the dipstick tube to extract oil, allowing in-water oil changes
- Gearcase lubricant, marine grease, power steering fluid and power trim fluid
Applications
Four-stroke outboards, sterndrives and inboard engines; most require oil changes annually or every 100 hours.
