Description
Auramarine upgrades and retrofits modernise existing ship fuel supply systems for new fuels and changing operational and regulatory requirements, including preparation for lower-carbon and alternative fuels and lifetime extension.

Upgrade examples
- Pumps: change from mechanical to magnetic coupling to eliminate leakage
- Viscometers: replacement with new-generation units suited to new viscosity ranges, enabling digitalisation
- Fuel filters: additional capacity against catalytic fines, with plug-and-play filter installation
- Electric components and control optimisation, flow meter upgrades, system conversions and fuel pumping compatibility checks
Process
- Appraisal based on basic technical documentation, followed by an onboard inspection report (by an Auramarine engineer or the chief engineer)
- Planning typically one to two weeks; the update itself a few days to two weeks
- Project coordination, delivery, assembly and installation available on a turnkey basis
