OXE Outboard Steering Systems

OXE Marine supplies steering systems for its diesel outboards, covering fully electric and hydraulic solutions from Dometic and SeaStar, along with installation hardware and network components.

Systems

• Dometic Optimus EPS – CANtrak display, PCM control unit and one or two hydraulic pumps; single or dual cylinder installations; up to four motors with the Twin-pack; NMEA 2000 compatible for autopilot integration without extra pumps; rudder angle display and adjustable steering effort
• Optimus Outboard Electric Steering Actuator – bolt-on replacement for the hydraulic cylinder combining control unit, power source, transmission and brushless DC actuator; speed-sensitive lock-to-lock tuning; three CAN bus connections; meets NMMA, ABYC, CE and SAE requirements
• Optimus 360 Joystick Control – retrofittable joystick for forward, reverse and sideways movement and rotation, with touch function and Take Command mode
• Power Assist steering – hydraulic power pump boosting a manual helm circuit; recommended for boats of 200 hp and above
• SeaStar Electronic Power Steering Helm – plug and play with CAN-compliant vessel control systems

• Hydraulic helm pumps 2.4 in3 (Classic Tilt, Front Mount, Sport Tilt Plus) for single or multiple outboards up to 700 HP combined
• Tournament Series front-mount hydraulic cylinders and twin-engine hardware/tie-bar kits for high-performance multi-engine installations
• Dometic Optimus SmartCylinder with integrated position sensor (RFU)
• Remote bulkhead fitting kits, single or dual hose, plastic or stainless steel
• Optimus Link UI and CANtrak colour display for setup and status
• EPS harnesses (H4, H7), NMEA 2000 kits, Micro-C T-connectors and 120-ohm CAN terminators
