Mecmar seawater-injection exhaust gas systems for marine gas turbine installations, supplied for luxury motor yachts and military vessels.
Description
Mecmar exhaust gas systems for gas turbine installations apply the same seawater injection principle used in Mecmar's diesel engine exhaust systems. They have been delivered for luxury motor yachts and military vessels.
Key features
- Seawater injected immediately downstream of the gas turbine diffuser/compensator outlet
- Two-stage injection with the same control and monitoring logic as the diesel version
- No silencers; mountings, exhaust pipes and ancillary equipment otherwise as in diesel installations
- Pumps, piping and exhaust ducting sized for the larger exhaust gas and water volumes of gas turbines
- Performance results similar to diesel engine installations
SCR and waste heat boiler options are not yet offered for gas turbine exhaust systems.
