Zanardi Single-Phase and Three-Phase Alternators

Zanardi single-phase and three-phase alternators from Mecc Alte are 2- and 4-pole generators for gensets, offered with brush-type compound regulation or brushless compound/electronic regulation.

Ranges

• BTP3 / ATO28 (2-pole, three-phase, brush, compound regulation): 6–55 kVA at 50 Hz, 7.2–65 kVA at 60 Hz. High pickup capacity (motor starting 1 HP x kVA); delta connection gives 70% of three-phase rated load single-phase, star with neutral 45%. Skewed stator or rotor, damper cage, shortened-pitch windings.
• CTP3 / ECSP (2-pole, three-phase, brushless, compound/electronic): 22–82 kVA at 50 Hz, 26.5–98.5 kVA at 60 Hz. Salient-pole rotating field with damper cage; optional plug-in AVIR bi-directional electronic regulator that reverts to compound regulation if it fails, with under-speed protection below 10% of nominal speed.
• PE28 (4-pole, single-phase, brushless, electronic regulation): 11–20 kVA at 50 Hz; very compact for smaller gensets.
• BTP3 / ATO28 (4-pole, three-phase, brush, compound regulation): 10–37 kVA at 50 Hz, 12–44.4 kVA at 60 Hz; good single-phase performance and high motor-starting capacity.
• CTP3 / ECSP28 / ECSP32 (4-pole, three-phase): 11–70 kVA at 50 Hz, 13.2–84 kVA at 60 Hz.
