Keypower KP4500 get-home drive: a hydraulically driven, clutched gearbox in the main driveline that turns the propeller using auxiliary engine power when the main engine is down or for low-speed running.
Description
The Keypower KP4500 Get-Home Drive (auxiliary prop drive) is a hydraulically driven, clutched gearbox mounted in the vessel's main driveline. It turns the propeller using auxiliary engine horsepower when the main propulsion system is shut down or disabled.
