Austart vane starters are air starters available in Z and U-shaped configurations for applications where space is limited. Lubricated and lubeless versions are offered with many flange and pinion options, using durable materials with high-quality surface finishes and coatings.

- AS50 – usually U-shaped, for small, tight-fit applications
- AS61 – diesel engines 1-3 litres; 360-degree variable flange positioning
- AS67 – diesel engines 3-6 litres; Z-shaped design
- AS69 – diesel engines 3-6 litres; usually U-shaped
- AS70 – diesel engines 3-11 litres
