About

Indmar was started by Dick Rowe, after 20 years in the US Marine Corps, and his wife Donna as a small industrial and marine supply distributorship, Indmar Products Company, Inc. Early products were industrial and irrigation pumps based on V-8 automobile engines, followed by custom marinized inboard engines for jet boat manufacturers. The company now looks back on 50 years in the inboard marine industry.

Manufacturing takes place on a campus of facilities in Millington, Tennessee, with distribution centers in Millington and in Corona, California. Indmar states that it was the first to bring fuel injected inboard engines to the market.

Engines are serviced through a network of more than 1,200 certified service centers whose technicians are trained and certified by Indmar. The site footer names Tennessee Propulsion Products, LLC as copyright holder.
