Ilmor Marine

Ilmor Marine, LLC is the marine division of Ilmor, based at 55285 Lyon Industrial Drive, New Hudson, Michigan, and handles all marine product sales and support. Ilmor Engineering, Inc. is located in Plymouth, Michigan, and Ilmor Engineering, Ltd. operates in Brixworth, Northamptonshire, UK.

Ilmor was formed from the partnership of Mario Illien and Paul Morgan with Roger Penske to build turbocharged engines for the IndyCar series, and later expanded into NASCAR and ARCA racing. The company states that it employs more than 130 engineering, assembly and support personnel.

The marine engines build on more than 35 years of automotive racing experience and a long-term relationship with the Penske Corporation. Ilmor also works with a group of boatbuilding partners and runs an environmental commitment programme to offset its marine footprint.
