Honda Marine is a business division of Honda Power Sports & Products and is headquartered in Alpharetta, Georgia, USA. The site is operated by American Honda Motor Co., Inc. and serves customers in the United States; the Honda group itself is Japanese.
The first Honda four-stroke outboard was introduced in 1964 and the first Honda outboard reached the US market in 1967. By 1985 Honda offered a full line of four-stroke outboards, and the division marked its 60th anniversary in 2024.
