Cox Marine

Cox Marine is a British marine technology company based in Shoreham-by-Sea. Founded over a decade ago, it set out to design and manufacture a lightweight diesel outboard from the ground up as an alternative to conventional outboard engines.

Engineering, production and testing take place at its facility in the Cecil Pashley Building at Brighton City Airport, Shoreham-by-Sea. The first product was the 300 V8, later joined by the 350 V8, which the company describes as the most powerful diesel outboard in the world.

The company supports commercial, governmental and recreational customers around the world through a network of local distributors and service partners. Its stated vision is to pioneer safe, sustainable and dependable marine propulsion. Several of its social media channels carry the name Cox Powertrain.
