Description
Grid Systems Integration Services from GE Vernova cover the full lifecycle of High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC), Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS) and AC substation assets, for both onshore and offshore applications.
Scope
- HVDC (LCC & VSC) – onshore and offshore converter station services, from O&M to controller upgrades (eLumina) and complete valve/cooling replacement
- FACTS – lifecycle support for SVCs, STATCOMs, Fixed-Series Compensation (FSC) and synchronous condensers, with modular upgrade paths
- AC substations (onshore & offshore) – turnkey service covering HV/MV/LV systems, CMMS implementation, outage management and 24/7 technical support

- 24/7 support and emergency response
- Preventive and corrective maintenance (capacitors, valves and more)
- Assessments and studies of control alarms, network disturbances and unexpected events
- Spare parts programs and obsolescence/lifecycle management
- Upgrade and modernization, including HVDC control upgrades with IEC 61850 communication
- Cybersecurity patch monitoring and criticality assessments
Service agreements
Long-term service agreements scale from Hotline (remote technical support) through Preventive, Lifecycle, Responsiveness and Full packages to a Performance Guarantee covering system reliability, availability and maintainability (RAM). Support is delivered through four global Centers of Excellence, 37 local field service centers and three oil labs.
