Mastervolt Battery Mate Electronic Battery Isolators
Mastervolt Battery Mate electronic (MOSFET) battery isolators for charging two or three battery banks from one alternator or charger with negligible voltage drop; 160 A and 250 A models.
Description
The Mastervolt Battery Mate is an electronic battery isolator that splits the output of an alternator or battery charger between two or three independent battery banks. Unlike conventional diode splitters, it uses MOSFET technology that compensates for the voltage drop, so batteries charge quickly and fully without adjusting the alternator.
Key features
- Negligible voltage loss between alternator and batteries
- Compatible with any alternator or battery charger, in new and existing systems, including alternators whose charge voltage cannot be adjusted
- Charges two or three batteries at high yield
- LED indication of active power input
- Corrosion-proof construction with aluminium heat sinks and encapsulated electronics
- Synthetic end plates with connection lugs and solid bolt connections for easy installation
Models
- Battery Mate 1602 IG / 1603 IG: for alternators up to 160 A (2 or 3 outlets)
- Battery Mate 2503 IG: for alternators up to 250 A (3 outlets)
