Description
The Harbormaster BT-200 is a tunnel (bow/stern) thruster consisting of a right-angle gear set, watertight pod (gear case), pod supporting structure, propeller and corrosion-resistant steel tunnel. All material is manufactured and assembled in the USA.

- Input speed: 1800–2100 rpm (horizontal or vertical input)
- Propeller: 36-inch four-blade manganese bronze Kaplan type, maximum 643 rpm
- Thrust: not less than 4,500 lbs at maximum propeller speed
- Spiral bevel gears, lapped matched set, AGMA quality 8-10
- Forged steel pinion and propeller shafts on tapered roller bearings
- Mechanical propeller shaft seal
- Pod-to-tunnel diameter ratio not exceeding 3:1
- Lubrication by oil immersion with 10-gallon static lube oil tank, mounted at least 10 ft above the load waterline
- Abrasion and corrosion resistant rolled steel tunnel with welded chill rings for distortion control and alignment of shipyard-fitted extensions
- Warranty: 12 months
